Already this season there has been two matches where there has been only 5 Players in both sides. In the Rules of Play there is a section to help with this as people have not known what to do in this situation. I have copied it below for everybody’s reference.

Section “D” – IRREGULARITIES

2. In the event of a side having only 5 players, the last singles game is to be forfeited.
The first trebles are to be named, and the 2nd, 2 players named, the 3rd player to be selected by opposing captain, and again shall select a player to complete the doubles team.
If both sides have only 5 players, then both the last singles and last doubles games are to be cancelled, one point to be added to each teams score.
